PFAS, ubiquitous and persistent micropollutants
Légende
It's a big family: PFASs (per- and poly-fluoroalkylated substances) are synthetic chemical molecules, and there are several tens of thousands of them. Prized by industry for their waterproof, nonstick and stain-resistant properties, they are now everywhere in everyday products. The problem is that these substances are highly resistant and difficult to degrade in the environment.
