New hope for paraplegics

Researchers at the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) have studied paraplegic rats given therapy to regain the use of their legs. This study enabled them to understand the mechanisms induced in the recovery of walking in these animals and, perhaps, to be able to apply these results to paraplegic people in the long term.
