Learning from failed experiments

When a scientific discovery is made, only the results of the successful experiment are published. Yet, to arrive at a publishable scientific discovery, it often takes many failures andʹintuitions. Researchers at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne have developed a method for harvesting all these failed attempts made invisible and these intuitions volatilized in order to value them.
