News on the birth of vision

Researchers at the University of Geneva (Unige) and the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) have understood some of the fundamental mechanisms of retinal development. By uncovering the earliest stages in the construction of vision, they are paving the way for regenerative eye medicine.
