Feeling that a prosthesis is part of your body

Researchers at the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) have used virtual reality and artificial tactile sensations to help two hand amputees. This breakthrough should enable amputees to tame their prosthesis and treat it as a fully-fledged member of their body.
