The gait neuron identified

Nine partially injured paraplegic patients have regained some mobility thanks to an implant that stimulates their spinal cord. This result is the fruit of work by the NeuroRestore team at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois. The task now is to understand precisely how this recovery works, so as to better target the family of neurons involved.
