Presented since their emergence as the new scientific grail, nanoparticles are often frightening today. Invisible, these materials are present in cosmetics, textiles and everyday consumer products. All the more reason for public anxiety in this age of body control. But at the same time, nanoparticles enable us to innovate, to invent better materials, to improve our lives. They have tremendous economic potential.
