Women derive as much benefit from sport as men, training only half as much

According to a study published in the Journal of The American College of Cardiology, women would need to engage in physical activity for less time than men, to achieve the same cardiovascular benefits. The study, carried out on 412,000 American men and women over a 20-year period, also demonstrated that the risk of mortality fell by 24% in women, but by only 15% in men, for similar practices.
