Will glacial lakes swallow us up?

In early 2023, a study published in the journal "Nature Communication" showed that over 700,000 people in Switzerland would be threatened by their proximity to glacial lakes. Between mid-July and mid-August, we are right in the middle of the season when these lakes empty.
