Thirsty cities

In March 2018, Cape Town in South Africa was facing a severe water shortage. According to a study published the same year in "Nature Sustainability Journal" more than 460 metropolises could be affected by this phenomenon over the next 30 years. Global warming, demographics and poor governance are at the root of this very real threat.
