Millions of years to reconstitute Madagascar's fauna

If Madagascar's endangered animal species were to disappear, it would take between three million and twenty-three million years to restore the extraordinary animal variety of this island in the lʹIndian Ocean. This is the finding of a study published in the journal "Nature Communications"
