Will all our masks end up in the wild?

They're increasingly being found on the ground, on sidewalks and even on beaches... The surgical masks used to combat the spread of the coronavirus are made of polypropylene, i.e. plastic. Should we prepare for gigantic pollution? And what can we do about it?
