The environmental impact of masks

By 2020, several billion masks would have found their way into the oceans. As they are, more often than not, made of polypropylene (a petroleum-based plastic) they are not biodegradable. Scientists from dʹUnisanté and dʹenvironnemental action are proposing both ecological and sanitary solutions to reduce this impact.
