Chemicals stagnate in Lake Geneva's plastics. Cadmium, lead and mercury are present in plastics collected from the lake's beaches. A study by the University of Geneva (Unige) and the University of Plymouth sheds light on this plastic pollution, which is not restricted to the oceans.
