Tree ecophysiology

At the Plant Ecology Laboratory at EPFL and WSL, headed by Charlotte Grossiord, cutting-edge experiments are carried out in climatic chambers. This research uses advanced technologies such as X-ray microtomography. The aim is to better understand the impact of drought and heatwaves on trees.
