World's only system to study the impact of drought on forests inaugurated in Valais

LʹInstitut fédéral de recherches sur la forêt, la neige et le paysage and lʹÉcole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne have inaugurated a first-of-its-kind facility at Bois de Finges, between Brig and Sion in Valais, to study the effect of dry air on forests. The aim of the project is to understand how climate change is impacting our trees, in particular Scots pines.
