Légende

The blue ice of Antarctica, covering just 1% of its surface, has revealed itself to be an invaluable source of meteorites, providing two-thirds of those collected on Earth. These cosmic fragments, invaluable for research into the solar system and our past, are best preserved in these areas, where detailed mapping has recently been carried out by scientists, including Devis Tuia, geographer and associate professor at EPFL.
