Tetraplegics and computers train together to win the Cybathlon Avatar Race

It was a gold medal and a tournament record that two tetraplegic people won, in 2016, at an international competition featuring avatars. A feat made possible by several months of human-computer training, supervised by a team from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.
