Switzerland redrawn, from Napoleon to the Congress of Vienna

At the Congress of Vienna in 1815, the major European powers recognized Switzerland's sovereignty, independence and neutrality. It was also on this date that the cantons of Neuchâtel, Valais and Geneva joined the Confederation, notably to give Switzerland more defensible borders.
