Confederation reinvented

September 12, 1814 marks the beginning of the reconstruction of an independent Confederation: the entry of Neuchâtel, Valais and Geneva into the Confederation, a substantial increase in territory to the Confederation, desired by the Great Powers and the decision of the Helvetic deputies to send representatives to the Congress of Vienna.
