Second generation: the eternal dual identity

Born of foreign parents, the people we call "secondos" or "secondas" are those second-generation children who were born in Switzerland or settled there in their early childhood. Eight hundred thousand people in Switzerland correspond to this definition, i.e. almost one Swiss in ten! Secondos and secondas sometimes hold a different passport from their parents, and have to deal with an identity made up of two cultures. How does one live with this tug-of-war - when it is one?
