Objects that reassure us

Tell me what objects you own, and I'll tell you who you are! Throughout our lives, we buy, salvage or receive objects that will make up our treasure trove. Far from being reduced to their utilitarian role, these objects tell of our choices, our priorities, our tastes, our history, our travels, our relationship with the past and with others. Itʹs what we call the "mirror effect", and marketing experts have clearly understood that they can exploit this spring to sell us, with each object, the dream life that goes with it.
