Renovation measures for Swiss real estate

New standards have recently come into force to improve the energy efficiency of the building stock and ambient air quality. The resulting sealing of buildings will banish radon, a naturally occurring radioactive gas that is harmful to health, from certain homes in the Jura and Valais regions. However, according to construction professionals, energy-efficient renovation must also include the renewal of indoor air to evacuate emanations and thus protect the health of inhabitants.
