Hospitalization and the risk of undernutrition

About 40% of patients hospitalized at the HUG are at risk of undernutrition. The percentage is similar at the CHUV and in line with the European average, which reports 30% to 50% of patients at risk of undernutrition. What are the causes of this situation? And what can be done about it?
