Former Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega dies aged 83

He had spied for the CIA before the USA invaded the country in 1989 and put an end to its brutal regime, plagued by drug trafficking. First convicted by the US justice system in 1992, he spent more than two decades behind bars in the USA for drug trafficking.
