USA to station heavy weapons in Europe

The United States is preparing to station heavy weapons on Europe's eastern borders, in the Baltic States and Poland. The Pentagon is awaiting approval from the White House. This move, unprecedented since the end of the Cold War, would put an end to a tacit agreement on the relative sanctuarization of the former satellites of the USSR.
