Widely prescribed statins are associated with a slight risk of cerebral hemorrhage

In Switzerland, a third of the elderly take statins, an anti-cholesterol medication. However, according to a published study, they could, in rare cases, cause fatal cerebral haemorrhages. However, their overall usefulness is not called into question.
