Where does wool come from?

Légende

Wool is a natural fiber that comes from animals. Thus, wool is taken from different breeds of sheep and goats; Angora rabbits are dehaired and Alpacas, the mammals that live in the Andes, are shorn. Each of these wools has its own particular characteristics. In principle, the presence of more or less natural fibers is also indicated on labels, but it is not compulsory in Switzerland.
