What's all this about eternal pollutants?

The cantons of Valais and Fribourg have recently introduced action plans against per- and polyfluoroalkylated substances (PFAS), better known as "eternal pollutants". They are found in a whole range of everyday objects, as varied as cardboard straws, technical clothing and non-stick frying pans.
