What challenges still lie ahead when it comes to equality?

While Switzerland is still lagging behind when it comes to equal rights for LGBTQIA+ people, the public's support and vote for a law against homophobia on February 9 sent a strong symbolic and legal message against incitement to hatred. Even more recently, the revision of the law on equal pay was an encouraging step forward in the fight for equality between men and women. But sexism remains more present than ever.
