VQ: I am a musician and conductor
Légende
As violinist and conductor Alba Cirafici testifies, 40 years ago, embarking on a career in classical music as a woman was quite unheard of. Decades later, the situation has clearly changed: ensembles are now mixed, and to see a woman playing the violin is no longer exceptional. Is this proof that professions still have a gender? How can we explain it? What can we say to women wishing to enter a profession that is a priori reserved for men, and vice versa?
