Time reversal for electrical transformers

A new technique makes it possible to avoid losses in the lʹélectricité distribution system by efficiently and accurately locating anomalies in electrical transformers. Developed at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), it is based on time reversal, a physics process that enables us, as it were, to go back in time.
