Observe biocement formation live on a microchip

A chip makes it possible to study biocement formation in real time. This is what scientists from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and the University of Lausanne have demonstrated. This breakthrough now enables them to better dose ingredients and develop distinct protocols according to the different uses of this emerging material.
