Skiing on the wrong slope?
Légende
About a third of the Swiss population ski. But this Swiss tradition is now under threat from climate change. Over the last fifty years, one in three ski areas in our country has had to close. And the lack of snow has become even more acute in recent winters. While Alpine resorts remain confident thanks to artificial snow cover, the situation is becoming critical for low- and medium-altitude ski areas. Can mountain tourism do without skiing? What happens to ski lifts if there is no more snow? How can we reinvent ourselves and find economic alternatives?
