A second patient "cured" of HIV

An HIV patient who benefited from a stem cell transplant is said to be cured. He is the second person in the world to recover from the disease. The man who lʹon calls "the London patient" has shown no sign of the virus for thirty months despite stopping antiretroviral treatments. However, this result does not mean that a universal cure has been found for Aids.
