A case of remission in an HIV patient

An anonymous cancer patient appears cured of her HIV infection thanks to a bone marrow transplant. By treating the cancer with the transplant, the infection was also cured. While this may not be the ideal treatment for healthy people living with HIV, it may open up avenues for curative treatments.
