Geneva patient becomes world's 6th person in remission from HIV

A patient is in remission from HIV in Geneva following a bone marrow transplant for the treatment of blood cancer. For the first time, the stem cells did not carry a genetic mutation, which makes cells naturally resistant to the AIDS virus.
