HIV: "Reservoir cells" continually stimulate the immune system

In 95% of people taking antiretroviral treatment (Tefficaceous, the AIDS virus is undetectable in the blood and therefore untransmissible. But according to a study published in the journal "Cell Host & Microbe", the virus nevertheless persists in rare cells that function as "reservoirs" - manufacturing parts of the virus - and continue to stimulate the immune system even after years of treatment.
