New lead in immunotherapy

Lʹimmunotherapy is a treatment that relies on and stimulates the immune system, so that it attacks cancer cells. However lʹune of the approaches, called CAR T-cell, sʹouve proved too effective since it also tends to attack healthy tissue, causing organ damage. To inhibit this undesirable effect, researchers have developed a system that "turns off" the activity of cancer killer cells.
