The scientific vessel "Adolf Jensen" causes an oil spill in Greenland

The oceanographic research vessel "Adolf Jensen" ran aground on Thursday, September 19, 2024 off Greenland, causing an oil spill of 20,000 liters of diesel. A floating boom was set up, but was unable to prevent pollution of the surrounding fiords. Fortunately, all those on board were evacuated.
