Our country is not renowned for its scandals. Denunciations and other collective indignities have not often shaken Switzerland, but they have existed! Children in care, the fiches affair, the fluoride scandal: these troubles provide us with an ideal observatory for studying the transformations and conflicts that are developing within our contemporary societies.
