Racism, sexism, patriarchy: Cover up the past that I can't see?

In Geneva, Carl Vogt is being debunked as a racist; in Lausanne, Racine is no longer to be performed as a misogynist; in England, people are dreaming of a Harry Potter without J.K.Rowlings, deemed transphobic. In this age of all-inclusiveness, the past no longer passes muster when it crushes, scorns or forgets minorities. So should we erase some to make others visible?
