Who are the men and women who, by vocation or necessity, have made the choice to spend their lives behind bars in order to enable our prisons to function? Guards, wardens, chaplains, medical staff, how do they endure the hours spent alongside inmates who are sometimes dangerous or suffer from psychiatric disorders?
