More than 30,000 asylum applications in 2023, not seen since 2015. Switzerland, like Europe, is facing an influx of asylum seekers up 23% year-on-year. As cohabitation with the population around the major asylum centers becomes more complicated, the phenomenon is worrying the Swiss and agitating the political class.
