Confederation closes nine temporary federal asylum centers

The State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) is to close nine of the Confederation's temporary asylum centers. These offer a total of 1,735 accommodation places. Their closure is due to the lower-than-expected number of asylum applications for the current year.
