Pierre Boulez, composer of institutions

Composer and conductor Pierre Boulez would have been 100 years old in 2025. He has been seen as the prototype of modernity in music, and has left a lasting mark on this art, both through his work and the institutions he founded and directed: we think, among others, of the Institut de recherche et de coordination acoustique/musique (IRCAM), the Ensemble Intercontemporain or the Philharmonie in Paris, all instruments of a global project of creation, production and dissemination.
