Pedestrians reclaim the city

Long neglected in the face of cars, pedestrians are reclaiming the city. In Lausanne, for example, the authorities want to invest 3.2 million francs to develop their pedestrian policy. It's about time: the galloping demographics of recent years in French-speaking Switzerland have not always been followed by developments worthy of the name.
