Obedience in times of pandemic

Who and what have we obeyed over the past two years? What have we collectively or individually agreed to do, or not to do? Faced with the threat of the virus, we have very rigorously and for the most part complied with the orders, laws and recommendations issued by the authorities. But how did obedience evolve over the 23 months of the pandemic?
