The working classes at university

It's very name brings together two seemingly antagonistic realities: the University and the working world! Born a century ago out of a refusal to accept this gap between knowledge and the working class, the Université ouvrière de Genève (UOG) has evolved in line with changing social relations, but its objective is always the same: to pass on to the working classes the knowledge that will enable them to take their place in society, individually and collectively.
