Class inequalities persist in Switzerland

You'd think that social change, economic development and access to education would have made it easier to move from one social class to another. But according to a study by a Lausanne-based sociologist, social mobility in 20th-century Switzerland has changed very little. Inequalities between classes are reproduced again and again.
